Yacht marble restoration jobs in our ports
LTDS Yachting brings the stone-care know-how of Les Traitements du Sud to yachts in the Mediterranean and Atlantic ports of our network. As the network grows, we are looking for people to grow with it. If you are interested in yacht marble restoration jobs, this page explains who we are looking for, how we work, and how to apply.
We do not publish fixed job offers here. We prefer to meet good people when they are ready, and to build the team port by port. Spontaneous applications are welcome for every port, including the ones still to come.
Who we are looking for
Our work is specialised, and so are the profiles we look for:
- Marble polishers who know how to hone and polish natural stone by hand and by machine, and who understand the difference between a honed, satin and polished finish.
- Stone restorers able to repair chips and cracks, fill with tinted resin, rebuild an edge or a worn step, and remove etch marks and stains without damaging the surface.
- Technicians with experience of crystallisation and protective impregnation on calcareous stones and on onyx, travertine, granite or quartzite.
Experience on board is a real advantage. If you have already worked on yachts, as a contractor or as crew, you know what a yacht interior demands: protecting joinery and carpets, keeping noise and dust under control, respecting crew areas and guest privacy. That knowledge is hard to teach and we value it.
Languages matter too. English is the working language with captains and crews; Spanish, Italian, French or the language of the port you would like to work in is a genuine plus.

On board, in small teams
Our jobs take place where the yacht is: alongside in the marina, at anchor when access allows, in the shipyard during a refit or lay-up, or in a workshop near the yacht for removable pieces. We work in small teams of people who know each other’s methods and can be trusted alone in a guest cabin.
Every job follows the same sequence, described in how we work on board: protection first, dust controlled at the source, products suited to confined spaces, a schedule built around the crew and a final check with the chief stew. We expect everyone on the team to work that way, every time.
Our ports, today and tomorrow
Today our travelling team works in the ports listed in find your port, across Spain, Italy, Malta, Croatia, Greece and Portugal. Over time, each port of the network is meant to have its own local company and its own team. That is where you come in.
When you apply, tell us which port or ports you would like to work in. You can choose a specific port, several ports, or “any port” if you are happy to travel. If your preferred port is not on our list yet, say so in your message: we keep applications in mind as the network grows.
What matters to us
- Care for the stone and for everything around it
- Discretion about yachts, owners and guests
- Precision in the work and in what you promise
- Reliability: being where you said, when you said
- Respect for the crew and their routine on board
Questions from applicants
Do I need to have worked on yachts before?
No, but it helps. Solid experience with natural stone comes first. If you have never worked on board, we will explain how a yacht interior is protected and how to work around a crew.
Can I apply for a port that is not on your list?
Yes. Tell us where you are based and where you would like to work. We keep applications in mind as new ports join the network.
Do I need to speak English?
A working level of English is important, because it is the common language on board. Other languages are a plus, especially the language of the port where you would like to work.
What happens after I apply?
Your application is read by a member of the team. If your profile matches a current or upcoming need, we contact you to talk about your experience and, where possible, to see your work.
Spontaneous applications
Fill in the form below with your trade, your experience, whether you have worked on board before, the languages you speak and the ports that interest you. Attach your CV if you have one. Photos of your past work are welcome in your message or later by e-mail.
