Find your port: yacht marble care across the Mediterranean and the Atlantic coast
Find your port below and see how our travelling team reaches your yacht there. Every port on this page is open: we take requests and we come on board, whether your yacht is alongside, at anchor, hauled out in a yard or laid up for the winter.
The service is the same in each of them: polishing, crystallisation, repair, etch mark removal and protection of marble, onyx and natural stone on board, carried out by a small, discreet team that works around the crew’s schedule.
Search by port, marina or island
Type the name of a port, a marina or an island, or let the finder suggest the closest port from your position. Nothing is sent anywhere: the search runs in your browser. If your yacht is somewhere not listed, the last card takes you straight to the request form.
A travelling team that comes to your yacht
We do not keep an office, a workshop or a stock of materials in each port. Interventions are carried out today by the travelling team of Les Traitements du Sud, the stone-care company that looks after yachts on the Côte d’Azur. When a request comes in, the team travels to your yacht with its equipment, works on board, and leaves once the stone has been checked with the crew.
This model has one clear advantage for captains and managers: the same people, the same methods and the same standard of finish follow your yacht along her itinerary. A bathroom polished in spring can be maintained in the same way in another country at the end of the season.
Four ways to work, chosen with you
We come to your yacht, wherever she is. The place of work is agreed with the captain or the manager, depending on the yacht’s programme:
- Alongside in the marina. The most common case: the team boards from the quay, protects floors and joinery, and works cabin by cabin while the crew carries on.
- At anchor. Possible when access by tender is practical and the equipment can be brought on board safely.
- In the shipyard. During a refit, a haul-out or a winter lay-up, when the interior is free and other contractors are on board; we fit into the yard’s schedule.
- In a workshop near the yacht. For removable pieces such as a vanity top, a basin or a table top, when taking them ashore gives a better result or keeps dust out of the interior.
None of these is imposed. The choice depends on the work, the yacht’s availability and the guests’ calendar, and it can change between two visits.
Countries and ports
Each country has its own page with its cruising grounds, its refit centres and the ports we serve there: Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece and Portugal. Malta has a single page: Valletta and the Grand Harbour.
Your port is not listed?
Send the request anyway. Tell us where the yacht is, where she will be in the coming weeks and what needs attention. We look at whether the team can travel there within the European Union, at what moment of the yacht’s programme, and we answer clearly, including when the answer is no. Often a yacht moving between two listed ports can be seen at either end of the passage.
The French Riviera
Yachts in French ports are looked after by our French team, which works there in French and English. The finder above includes a card for the Côte d’Azur that leads to it.
Questions about our ports
Do you have a local office in each port?
No. Our team travels to your yacht in each port listed here. There is no local address and no local stock: you contact one team, on one WhatsApp number, wherever the yacht is.
Can you follow our yacht from one country to another?
Yes. Because the same team travels between ports, work started in one country can be continued or maintained in another. A short brief from the captain or the manager about the itinerary helps us plan the next visit at the right moment.
Can you work while the yacht is in a shipyard for refit?
Yes. Yard periods are often the best time for heavier work on floors, stairs or bathrooms. We coordinate with the yard and the project manager on access, protection and the order of works with other trades.
How do I send a request?
The quickest way is WhatsApp with a few photos of the surfaces, the yacht’s length and her location. You can also use the form, which lets you choose the port, the place of work and the dates when the yacht is available.
Tell us about your yacht
Send a few photos on WhatsApp: we reply with a first assessment and propose a slot that fits the crew’s schedule.
